Walmart has Started Selling iPads at Some Stores

Walmart stores are already displaying iPads and its expected that as many as 1000 Walmart stores will have it by month end. Another 800 stores should be added by November.
Selling iPads at the nations largest retailer will only increase the pace of iPads sales across the US. iPads are now bring sold at Best Buy, Target, Amazon, Apple stores, Apple’s online store and now apparently Walmart. Having these large retailers carrying the iPad will make it easy for holiday shoppers to find the fast selling touch screen tablet.
Walmart already carries some iPad accessories but is expected to start selling additional accessories, such as cases, bluetooth keyboard, and a camera connection kit for the iPad.
There has not been an official press release from Walmart or Apple but at this point its almost official.
Update:
Walmart has confirmed the iPad will reach its stores this week. The tablet arrives in hundreds of stores on Friday, October 15, and all models should be available at the same prices that Apple charges. The iPad should reach 2,300 US shops by mid-November, according to Walmart.
