New Apple Products Expected

Digitimes is reporting that Apple is set launch an upgraded 9.7-inch iPad with a new ARM Cortex-A9-based processor and 512MB RAM in the first quarter of 2011. Apple is also expected to launch a 7-inch iPad using the Cortex-A9 processor and an IPS panel with a resolution of 1024×768 at the same time.

It has not been confirmed but with the FaceTime on the new iPhone 4, it’s almost certain that the new iPads will include a camera.

Digitimes also claims Apple will release a new Verizon iPhone and a new Apple TV.

The Verizon iPhone will work on CDMA networks and will feature an integrated antenna. These type of iPhone rumors have been around for a long time but this seems to have merit.

The new Apple TV will use AMD’s Fusion solution and will not include a hard drive. The new Apple TV will be an iOS based device with support for social networking websites, network multimedia and the App Store. The device is expect to sell for $99.
