MacBook Pro with Retina Display is Here
At Tuesdays event Phil Schiller introduced us to the new MacBook with Retina Display. The 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pros got have gotten a nice processor upgrade. They now have Intels 4th generation dual-core Haswell chip. These beauties also have Iris integrated graphics and an improved battery life of up to 9 hours. Both models have PCI Express solid-state drives, Thunderbolt 2 ports and 802.11ac WiFi. Teh 15-inch has an optional GeForce GT 750M video card.
The 13-inch model is now 3.46 pounds and .71 inches thick with a price starting at $1299. It has 2.4GHz i5, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage.
The 15-inch will start at $1999 has a 4th generation Intel quad core processor, 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD.
Both models are available today.
