iPad 2 Shipping Time Moves to 3-4 Weeks

Apple started selling the iPad 2 online early yesterday morning, shipping times were initially 3-5 days. After a few hours the shipping time quickly slipped to 2-3 weeks.

Now, just over 24 hours since the iPad went on sale, iPads 2 shipping times from the online Apple Store are now at 3-4 weeks. This applies to both the 3G models and Wi-Fi models.

Given the long lines at stores yesterday and the increased shipping times, all indications are pointing to an exceptionally launch of the iPad 2. I expect Apple will release some numbers on Monday that states how many were sold through the weekend.
