iPad 2 “Don’t Get Your Hopes Up Too High”
Cult of Mac is claiming to have received limited information from an “Apple staffer” about the iPad and a revamped MobileMe service.
Supposedly, the Apple staffer stated “For the iPad 2 don’t get your hopes up too high. That’s all I’m going to say. They’ve had a number of problems along the way, and the third-generation iPad is the one to make a song and a dance about.”
The Apple staffer asked to remain anonymous for obvious reasons and declined to give any more details about the iPad 2 or 3.
We already know what to expect from the iPad 2. It should be lighter, thinner, have a faster chip with more RAM, have cameras and better speakers but we have little details about the iPad 3.
The insider also stated that MobileMe is being revamped with cloud storage features.
According to the insider, the new MobileMe service will store music, TV shows, and films that were purchased from the iTunes store and that there is talk inside Apple of being able to upload all your music and videos to the cloud whether it was purchased from iTunes or not.
