Apple Offers iPad Customers $100 Refund

Customers who bought a first-generation iPad in the last two weeks can opt to return their device to Apple, or request a $100 refund.
That refund equals the price difference between the prices Apple will charge for the iPad 2 when it goes on sale March 11 and what customers will now pay for the first version of the tablet.
Here is the part in Apple’s Return Policy that covers the refund.
Should Apple reduce its price on any shipped product within 14 calendar days of shipment, you may contact Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775 to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price. To receive the refund or credit you must contact Apple within 14 calendar days of the price change.
The new prices for the original iPad are $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version or $529 for the Wi-Fi and 3G model. In the 64GB original versions, the Wi-Fi only models are now $599 and the Wi-Fi and 3G is $729.
Refurbished models start ar $349.
