Apple is Preparing a Digital News Store

According to a report recently published by Bloomberg, Apple is developing a digital news store that would allow the sales of newspapers and magazines on iOS devices, but the app is designed particularly for the iPad.

The new storefront will be similar to the iBook store but allow subscriptions and one time purchases for digital newspapers and magazines.

Bloomberg states that Apple is negotiating with publishers on the details and the new digital newsstand could be released within the next couple of months.
