iPhone 5 rumor roundup

As the release of the iPhone 5 draws closer, the leaks and rumors are heating up.
True Supplier has leaked what is believed to be the case design of the iPhone 5. This typically happens because case-makers receive the new design in advance to have cases ready when the new devices are launched. They posted a hard shell case design for the iPhone 5. The new cases show a tapered back design, as well as the mute switch being moved to the other side.
Dual Mode iPhone 5
Apple produces two models of the iPhone 4: one for AT&T, and one for Verizon. A dual-mode iPhone 5 with support for both CDMA and GSM networks seems like a very likely scenario. According to TechCrunch, the device has been confirmed by logs that show a dual-mode device in testing.
Cheaper iPhone model alongside of iPhone 5
According to two sources for Reuters, Apple is planning on launching a cheaper version of the iPhone 4, along with the iPhone 5. The lower pricer iPhone 4 would be basically the same as the current iPhone 4 but with 8GB of storage. This makes sense because it would allow Apple to compete in the mid to low range smartphone market, and with iCloud, iPhone users may find themselves needing less storage on their devices.
Improved Specs for iPhone 5
Of course, the iPhone 5 will roll out with iOS 5 and several improved features. Some obvious improvements are a higher resolution camera, A5 Processor, more Ram and possibly NFC technology.
We expect to see the iPhone 5 launched in September but it could be as late as October.
Update: Here is a really cool concept video of the iPhone 5.
