iPhone iOS 4.0 is now available

Apple has the iOS 4.0 upgrade available starting today for the iPhone and iPod touch on iTunes. The iPad version of iOS 4 will be released this fall and the iPhone 4 will be released in a few days on Thursday, June 24.

The iOS 4 upgrade adss over 100 new features for the iPhone and iPod touch, including multitasking, (multitasking not available for iPhone 3G), the addition of folders, improved email, iBook support and much more.

Warning:
People who are relying on unlock tool for their iPhone, should stay away from this update until the iPhone Dev Team comes with a jailbreak and unlock tool for iOS 4.

Update: The iPhone Dev-Team has released a new version of UltraSn0w which can unlock iOS 4.0. They have also redsn0w beta now hacktivates iPhone3G on today’s iOS 4 (both Mac & Windows).
