Apple Unveils New App and Mac mini

Apple released a couple of of interesting things today. First, there is a new Apple store app available for your iPhone or iPod Touch. The app makes it easy to browse and purchase Apple products. I am surprised there is not a iPad version but I’m sure one will be coming soon.
You can pre-order the iPhone 4 on the app or at Apple.com starting today. The Apple store app had so much traffic today, it was caused problems with the app and drew complaints from users.
Apple also unveiled a new Mac mini today. The new Mac mini has a more compact design, measuring 7.7 inches square and 1.4 inches thin. That reduces the overall volume of the Mac mini by 20 percent.
It also comes with a new HDMI port and a new SD card slot. The HDMI port makes it easier to connect to modern TV’s, with the compact design and HDMI port the Mac mini is very living room friendly. The Mac mini comes standard with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 320GB hard and 2GB of RAM for $699.
