Apple introduced two new iPhones. The iPhone 5C was announced in green, yellow, blue, white and pink colors. The iPhone 5C has an all plastic, unibody design, similar to the other iPhones that have been recently produced. The iPhone 5C has a 4-inch retina display, integrated touch, 8MP iSight camera, widescreen video capability, and a hybrid IR filter. It also comes with a new camera app that offers live photo filters and 3x video zoom. It incorporates a new Facetime HD camera that is better in lowlight and also can use Facetime audio. Further, the dual-band Wifi supports abgn, and this supports bluetooth 4.0. On a two-year contract, the device will sell for $99 for the 16GB and $199 for the 32GB option. You can add an Apple, custom-designed case for $29.

iPhone 5S

The iPhone 5S is the second new phone Apple announced. The iPhone 5S comes in three colors: black, gold, and silver. It contains a brand-new, A7 64-bit chip. iOS7 has been updated to work seamlessly with the new, 64-bit processor as well. Apple claims the CPU and graphics are twice as fast as its iPhone 5 predecessor. The new iPhone 5S also has a new part called the M7, or the motion co-processor that measures data continuously. Nike developed an app called Nike+ Move that will incorporate the new M7 chip and better GPS tracking. Apple claims that the battery life is 10 hours on LTE, 10 hours talk time, 40 hours music playback, and 250 hours standby.

Camera

The camera is a huge point of emphasis in the iPhone 5S. The new camera has a 15% larger active sensor area, and a 5-element Apple-designed lens with a f/2.2 aperture. It also does autofocus matrix metering and uses a new flash called True Tone to get better, more natural-looking images. It also has auto image stabilization as well as digital stabilization. You can do something called ‘burst mode,’ meaning you can take live-action shots at up to 10 frames per second like you would on a DSLR camera. The phone automatically analyzes all the burst shots and picks the best one for you. You can also keep all the burst shots. The new camera also supports 120 fps slo-mo video recording now as well! It captures stunning 720p HD video at 120 fps, and you get to choose which parts are regular speed and which are slo-mo.

 Fingerprint Scanner

The next, exciting feature that Apple announced is the new fingerprint scanner home button for security. The new “Touch ID” has a 170 micron thin sensor, a 500 ppi resolution, and it is, as expected, built right into the home button. It can be used to log into your phone, make iTunes purchases, or anything else that needs a password.
