Cydia 1.1 has been released – Improved speed and performance

The jailbreak installer Cydia has just been updated by saurik to Cydia 1.1.

Cydia. 1.1 has been nearly re-written from 1.0 and includes new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements. According to saurik, Cydia 1.1 is faster, slimmer, and more stable; including an improved search algorithm and “resume where you left off”.

The Cydia homepage now displays correctly on the iPad in landscape mode.

To install 1.1, simply open Cydia on your jailbroken device, and upgrade when prompted.
