Can I Update iPad 1 On iOS 5.1.1 To iOS 7?
Unfortunately, Apple does not provide iOS 7 for the iPad 1, so you cannot visit an Apple site and receive the iOS 7 update. At this point, your software is listed at iOS 5.1.1 because it is the last version of iOS provided for the iPad 1. In order to get something similar to the iOS 7 look, you’ll need to jailbreak your iPad 1. I’ve written 
a detailed step-by-step method here that will help you get the look you want. While the step-by-step method in the link is for the iPod Touch 3G, the iPad 1 will require the same process. When you look for an Absinthe jailbreak program, be sure to look for the iPad 1 designation, however.
After you download the jailbreak program and follow the steps, you can then go and enter in iOS 7 at Cydia to search for jailbreak programs. I recommend one in the link above, so you may want to take my advice on this one if you don’t know your way around the Cydia App store.
Even with your iPad 1 running an iOS 7 skin, however, you will not have the entire look that you want. For one thing, the iOS 7 skin for my iPod Touch 3G does not have the proper iOS 7 YouTube icon (but you can create this using iFile), nor does the clock have the real-time animation that the iOS 7 clock app does. These may be minor disappointments, but few will notice them from a distance.

You need install iTunes program on other device for exemp.on PC , log in with your Apple ID and start download require app. Next find this app on your IPad in AppStore and install it. IPad will ask “do you want older version app?” click Yes.Itworks only if older version app is possible.You don’t need to wait until download app on PC is finish. Forgive my English.

Hi. I am trying to run a game, specifically Roblox on my first gen ipad with os 5.1 But as of this morning it all worked fine until roblox demanded an update. You could not bypass the update to play the game. So I updated. Big mistake because now the game Roblox is looking for os 7 or higher for the game to run. I am sure there is a way around this but have already spent 4 hours trying to figure it out. What do you recommend I could care less about the “look” of os 7 or higher I want my games to run!! I already wrote software to bypass games that want a camera. Now I need to run my games that want os 7 or higher. I love my ipad one and really don’t want to get a new ipad.

Hi. My iPad 3 for some reason won’t reset when I try to shut it off the apple comes up. Then when i try to do a hard reset it tries but then a quick white flash. So I’ve got my ipad1 till. But as you know it doesnt do a whole lot. Us there anyway I can upgrade & do I have to have a home computer to hook to iTunes? Causes don’t ave one it broke also. Thank you
