Safari too Slow on iOS 10: Here’s the Fix

The newest version of Apple’s operating system, the iOS 10, is packed with awesome features. Some of these features are doodled messages, notifications on lock screen, being able to reply to messages from notification, raise to wake, split-view and more! All iPhone and iPad users are overwhelmed with the new update, even the Music app interface is now easier to use.
In spite of all the awesome features, there are some issues experienced by some users such as slowness and short battery lifespan. One of the problems of some users is that Safari iOS 10 is too slow which was not an issue before the big update. #Step 1: From home screen, open Settings app.

Turn off Background App Refresh – Safari iOS 10
The Background App Refresh feature allows the apps in the background to keep running which can slow down your device. Disabling Background App Refresh can enhance the performance of your iPhone or iPad.
#Step 1: From home screen, open Settings app. Tap General.
#Step 2: Scroll down to Background App Refresh and toggle it off.
Clear Safari History from Safari App
You can also clear your history from Safari app to make an improvement on your sluggish iPhone or iPad. Simply launch the Safari app and tap bookmark icon which looks like an open book at the bottom of the screen for iPhones or on top of the screen for iPad. From History option, you can see all the sites that you visited. By tapping Clear, it can delete all your history. You can also simply swipe only those you wish to delete one by one.
Close All Tabs from Safari
You have probably a lot of open tabs in Safari. On iPad, you can easily view your open tabs but on iPhone, all open tabs are overlapping so you would not see how many tabs are open unless you check.
#Step 1: Open Safari. Tap and hold the Tabs icon from the bottom of the screen for iPhones and from the upper part from iPad to close all tabs.
#Step 2: Tap Close Tabs to confirm.
Clear Reading List
Clearing your reading list can also solve some problems such as Safari too slow on iOS 10. It can also help to improve its performance.
#Step 1: From home screen, tap Settings and tap General
#Step 2: Tap Storage & iCloud Usage and tap Manage Storage.
#Step 3: Scroll and look for Safari. Tap on it and you will see the Edit button on the top corner. Tap Edit.
#Step 4: You will see a red button on the left of Offline Reading List. Tap on it and tap Delete.
Turn Off Location Services
Another way to improve the performance of your device as well as the Safari app is by turning off Location Services when you do not really need it. It is simple to turn it off.
#Step 1: From home screen, go to Settings.
#Step 2: Tap Privacy and tap Location Services.
#Step 3: Tap to toggle it OFF.
Reboot Your iPhone or iPad
A simple reboot can solve many issues even the slow down of Safari iOS 10. It can also fix some bugs and other glitches that you are experiencing. The way of rebooting iPhone 7 and 7 plus has been changed:
#Step 1: Press and hold down the Power button at the side of your iPhone.
#Step 2: While still holding the Power button, press and hold the Volume Down button on the left side of your device.

Disable JavaScript for Safari iOS 10
