More Video Sites Supporting The iPad

There have been several people ask me if there are any ways to get around the iPad not supporting Flash. If you have been follow the Apple/Adobe saga, then you know it is more likely than the iPad will get a camera flash before is supports Adobe Flash.
Of course, you can watch video on YouTube and there are a few good video apps like the ABC Player and Netflix.
There are also more sites supporting HTML5 (which is compatible with the iPad). Revision3 get announced the they will be supporting HTML5 for the iPad. Revision3 is a TV network for the web.
Clicker.com announced they are going with HTML5 for their dashboard. Clicker is a Web-based video directory with a nice interface.
Facebook has also enabled iPad friendly videos. Facebook is getting around the Flash issue by serving up specially-coded videos for the iPad.
Last but not least is YouPorn. They are showing their X rated videos in HTML5.
Apple has not been the only critic of Flash. Microsoft has stated Flash has it’s problems also and now Adobe has told thousands of software developers it is embracing the HTML5 format.
Flash may not go away anytime soon but the web is changing. Video sites missing the huge potential of iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users is not something that is likely to happen much longer.
