How to arrange and organize photos on an iPad

If you have an iPad with iOS 5 or later you can easily organize your photos on the tablet by creating photo albums. Once you have created an album you can then rearrange the order of the photos.
How to create a photo album on an iPad
- Open the Photos app and tap albums.
- Tap Edit, then tap New Album.
- Enter a name for the album and tap Save.
- Select photos to add to the new album, then tap Done.
You can go back to the album and edit it by adding, removing and rearranging photos in the album.
To rearrange photos in the album just touch the arrow icon in the top right corner. Then hold your finger on a photo and drag it where you want it. You can also select a photo(s) to remove it or copy it. If you tap on copy, you can then go to another app, like Mail for instance and paste the photo(s).
You can even create several albums then rearrange the order of the albums dragging them where you want.

I have read that a new version of ios will include sort solutions on albums created on pc and sync to ipad. Is this right or have I to buy 3part program to solve this.
More than 10000 pictures from different sources, some of them without creating date can hopely been sorted on name etc. (Due to the large collection I can’t (will not) use icloud.)
When?

I’ve a iPad Air, the screen does not look like yours and there is no arrow button on top right corner.

Does Apple not have a program that can sort all my photos in an album by date? To move 500 photos one at a time is ridiculous!!!
