Google weather search is enhanced on mobile devices

If you search for ‘weather’ on your iPhone or iPad you will notice a new weather widget for your current location. The interactive widget will let you scroll through a ten day forecast and view the temperature, wind and chance of precipitation.
If you want to view the weather widget for a different city, just search for the name of the city and weather.
Google made the announcement via their Google Plus page.

The widget has changed on IOS, you can no longer scroll through the hourly and ten-day forecast which is what I loved about this widget. Please tell me this is not a permanent change :(
