Google catalogs app available for the iPad

Google has a new catalog app for the iPad available at Apple’s App Store that launched today.

The Google Catalogs app has digital versions of catalogs for several categories, including men & women’s apparel, jewelry, beauty, home, kids and gifts.

The application lets you browse through catalogs with the flick of a finger, then users can purchase items online or locate products in nearby stores.

The well designed app enables users to interact with product images and videos, save items in a collage, share products or collages with friends, receive a notification when new catalogs arrive, and to search across multiple catalogs.

Currently, the number of catalogs are limited, but Google promises to add more retailers soon. The app is only available for the iPad at the moment, but Google has plans to launch an Android version as well.
